Uncovering the Need
One of the most fundamental aspects of our approach is to research and uncover the current needs in Solano County. We ask the right questions, evaluate current processes, identify gaps, and figure out what areas need the most support.
Collaborating & Coordinating
Once we've done the research and understand the needs, we work with and support community partners to bring much-needed services to families. This includes direct involvement in coordinating those programs, developing funding, providing training, promoting education, and securing facilities.

Our Work in Solano County
Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC)
We lead and coordinate community-wide initiatives aimed at preventing and addressing child abuse. By working collaboratively with local partners, we raise awareness and foster collective action to protect children and support families. Our efforts highlight practical ways that every individual and organization can contribute to ending child abuse and creating a safer environment for all.
Our centers provide critical support to families facing financial challenges. Through a range of services including career counseling, financial education, and savings programs, SparkPoint Centers help families overcome immediate crises and build long-term financial stability. We aim to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve lasting security and independence.
Family Resource Centers (FRCs)
As the central hub for Family Resource Centers across Solano County, we ensure these local centers are equipped to offer comprehensive support. These centers serve as accessible points of contact where families can find information, resources, and services designed to enhance their well-being and success. Our role involves strengthening these centers to better meet the diverse needs of our community.
Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI)
Our PLTI program is dedicated to developing the skills of parents, enabling them to become confident advocates and effective leaders within their communities. Through targeted training and support, we empower parents to drive positive change, advocate for their children’s needs, and contribute to the betterment of their neighborhoods.

Our communities are an excellent choice for many Bay Area families drawn here by the beauty, the diversity and the availability of affordable neighborhoods- whether they work in Solano or commute to other parts of the Bay.
Yet, like in every region of California, families here need support to thrive. Challenges like the cost of living, access to health care, and stable housing impact far too many families. Resources are available but too often siloed across different institutions and agencies- even though families don’t live siloed lives.
